A group in Easingwold is seeking help to renovate a small horticulture site.
Easi Works on Birch Way Industrial Estate is a social enterprise run by charity Autism Plus. The group plan to create an area to house a polytunnel and ten raised beds. They are looking for volunteers to help with the work and donation or loan of garden tools including a rotavator, drill, hammers and chainsaw.
Easi Works supports people with autism, learning disabilities and mental health conditions to develop vocational, self advocacy and life skills in a fun, safe, real working environment. The renovated site will provide a space for co-workers with disabilities to learn skills in planting, growing and selling.
The project is expected to last for three months, starting in September 2016.
If you are able to volunteer, donate or loan tools for the project please contact Clare Robinson, Social Enterprise Co-ordinator on 01347 823224 or email email@example.com
