Bradford-based law firm Schofield Sweeney has broken last year’s record by collecting a whopping 241 Easter Eggs for the JCI Bradford Easter Egg Appeal.
“We held a competition between our three offices to see which would donate the most eggs, we had an overwhelming response!” Said Abigail Falshaw, Schofield Sweeney
The JCI Bradford Easter Egg Appeal project launched in 2014 and is a very worthwhile project bringing a little happiness to disadvantaged families and children at Easter.
“Having the opportunity to be a JCI member has opened my eyes in many ways, appeals such as the JCI Easter Egg Appeal are so rewarding and worthwhile throughout local business and the region as a whole. The charities involved are so grateful for the continued support” Said Jessica Fielden, Schofield Sweeney and JCI Member
JCI Bradford members run this appeal on a volunteer basis and run a similar schemes for disadvantaged children, the Secret Santa Appeal which started in 1989 and the Harvest Festival project a successful food collection scheme for the homeless and needy.
The eggs will be distributed to children across the district nominated by social services and local charities.
