Mr Flyer welcomes new apprentice, Jordan Lewis, who will be working as their HR and Recruitment Assistant.
He has a keen interest in working for a business of purpose and enjoys developing relationships with customers. Jordan hopes that the apprenticeship will give him the opportunity to earn and learn on the job and develop his professional knowledge. He commented “I’m excited to start my career and help the business develop. I believe my passion for people will help me in my role, and my desire to see Mr Flyer grow will keep me working hard”.
The new apprentice comes after Mr Flyer’s continual success. Mr Flyer is the North’s expert flyer distribution service, providing campaigns for hundreds of top brands and businesses. The business was founded in Huddersfield by 24 year-old Managing Director Andrew Robinson in 2011. Andrew wanted Mr Flyer to provide a service unlike others, offering clients bespoke campaigns full of effort and time in order to understand their every need. Due to the team’s hard work and passion to provide a great service, Mr Flyer has continued to thrive and now employs 30 staff members. Following the success of the Huddersfield base, the company have recently opened a base in Leeds and hope to continue to expand across the North, and hopefully the UK in the coming years.
Both Mr Flyer and Jordan hope that the apprenticeship will result in Jordan becoming Mr Flyer’s HR and Recruitment Manager, taking over the department. Michael Gladstone, Director of Operations and Finance Manager at Mr Flyer commented on the new apprentice “We’re all really happy to welcome Jordan. He brings great qualities and fresh ideas to the team. We hope that he continues to thrive and enjoy his apprenticeship with Mr Flyer and hopefully take over the HR and Recruitment department”.
