Cash for Kids Day

The rise in fuel prices is deeply concerning for many, thousands still struggling with the continuing financial effect of the pandemic, families living in poverty barely surviving and we expect many more will now be faced with the very hard decision of heating their home or feeding their children.

Over the last two years we have seen a huge rise in requests for support with basic essentials, we’re seeing requests from families that have never needed support previously but are now having to reach out and the demand for support is going to rise over the coming months.

In May, we will celebrate Cash for Kids Day and again raise as much as we can to help support local children and families in crisis living in West Yorkshire, The Yorkshire Dales, Harrogate and York. Every penny that we raise will go towards funding emergency grants to provide basic essentials such as food packages.

But, Cash for Kids are acting now and we need your help. Over the next few months can your workplace help make a difference. The funds you raise will help fund emergency grants meaning one less family may have to face a difficult decision.

Can you take part in 5k a day in May or organise a raffle, a fitness fundraiser, sponsored challenge, bake day, dress down day, swear jar, donate funds from a tuck shop or simply make a donation.
