The Environment Agency is looking for four new members of its Board.

As the environmental regulator with responsibility for flood and coastal erosion risk management, the Environment Agency’s purpose is to create better places for people and wildlife – and promote sustainable development.
Members of the Environment Agency Board must be advocates for environmental sustainability and have the opportunity to make an important difference to action on the climate emergency. The Environment Agency is keen to recruit forward-thinking individuals from diverse backgrounds and those who can bring a regional perspective from across England, particularly the north, west, and southwest.
We are especially keen to strengthen the Board in the following areas:
- natural environment and ecology
- flood and coastal risk management and/or the engineering industry
- agriculture and/or land management
- finance and investment, particularly in the private sector.
