The Bingley office of local Law Firm AWB Charlesworth Solicitors is supporting an initiative by volunteer group Bingley Action Stations. The “Incredible Edible” project allows commuters, locals and visitors to Bingley to enjoy freshly grown herbs from railway themed planters located outside the front of Bingley station.
Bingley was recently listed in the national press as one of the UK’s top ten commuter towns and the hope is that both home-workers and commuters will benefit greatly from this initiative in the coming months.
Sara Hardman of Bingley Action Stations said the group were awarded silver in the “it’s your station” category at the national ACORP Community Rail awards in 2019 and they continue to do excellent work in the town, despite the constraints of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Felicity Green of AWB Charlesworth Solicitors said “This initiative genuinely makes Bingley a great place to live and work – it is always a joy to see the freshly planted items, available to all, at the station and by the carparks. As a local business, we are proud to support the project and thank the Action Stations volunteers for their time and work. We hope our clients and the wider community will continue to enjoy the “Incredible Edibles” throughout the coming months”.
