Children‘s Heart Surgery Fund (CHSF) are thrilled to announce a charity corporate partnership with Synergy Procurement Solutions for the year ahead. Synergy provide cost management services to successful businesses through the UK, with their head office in Bradford. One of the directors at Synergy received care at Leeds for a heart condition, which prompted him to reach out to CHSF and offer support. CHSF have supported the Leeds Congenital Heart Unit since 1988, providing over £8million towards medical equipment, parent accommodation, ward facilities and research thanks to public support.
Sharon Milner, CEO of CHSF said:
“We are really excited to be working with Synergy Procurement to make a difference to patients with congenital heart disease, and their families.”
“The pandemic has taken its toll on charity income, but 1 in 100 babies continue to be born with heart defects across our region.
“Business support is absolutely crucial in our mission to enable us to support hearts for life, and we are hugely grateful to Synergy for joining our vital cause.”
On top of a regular monthly donation, Synergy have kindly offered their services to CHSF free of charge as part of the partnership. And if CHSF’s other corporate partners take advantage of their services, Synergy will donate a percentage of any fees accrued to the charity. Studies have shown that charity partnerships are of great benefit to both parties, leading to more engaged employees and great PR opportunities.
Simon Kamen, Procurement Specialist at Synergy added:
“We are thrilled to support this fantastic charity and we’re not satisfied with just making a donation.
We spend our lives reducing costs for major corporations and will now do this for CHSF, free of charge. It’s great to know that what we do every day will have a positive impact on CHSF finances, which of course means more money available to help children and their families.
We’ve never felt better motivated.”
