Awards entry terms and conditions

Raising the Bar Awards 2022 Terms & Conditions 

  1. Only fully paid members of the West & North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce can enter the 2022 Raising the Bar Awards free of charge. 
  1. Businesses who are not fully paid members of the West & North Yorkshire Chamber at the time of entry are subject to a fee of £300 (+VAT). A member of the Chamber team will be in touch following submission to collect payment. This payment must be paid in full before the award closure for the entry to be included in the judging process.   
  1. Entries are treated in confidence but will be shared with a select group of individuals for judging purposes. 
  1. All entries must be electronic and must be submitted via the application forms on the Raising the Bar website. 
  1. A maximum of 5 attachments (e.g. documents or photos) may be included with the entry form. These attachments must be image files jpg, png, pdf, doc, docx and must not exceed 5MB in total. Any attachments that exceed the permitted allowance or exceed the permitted file size will be deleted. 
  1. A video up to 3 minutes long may also be submitted to support your entry. Supported file types include mov, mp4, avi, wvm and this must not exceed 1 GB in total. Any attachments that exceed the permitted allowance or exceed the permitted file size will be deleted. 
  1. The maximum word count in the Achievements section is 500 words. This word count limit does NOT include the questions or the information required in previous sections.  
  1. Entrants may be asked for staff or customer testimonials. 
  1. Entries will be judged by an independent and impartial panel of judges. 
  1. Award winners will be announced at the Raising the Bar Awards Ceremony on Wednesday 9th November. 
  1. Entry to more than one category is permitted. 
  1. Applicants must be authorised to enter their organisation into the awards programme. 
  1. Entries should be in English. All entries must be checked for spelling and grammar. 
  1. Incomplete entries will not be judged. 
  1. All entries that meet all of the rules will be acknowledged on receipt. Entry forms will become the property of the West & North Yorkshire of Commerce and entries will not be returned. 
  1. Proof of sending entry (by email) is not proof of receipt by the West & North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce. 
  1. The West & North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to withdraw an award from any applicant supplying false information within their entry. Judges reserve the right to audit any information supplied. 
  1. The closing date for entries is 23:59 on Monday 24 October. 
  1. The judges’ decision is final, and no further correspondence will be entered into. 
  1. By registering and completing an entry for the Awards you agree to these terms and conditions.
