Exciting Volunteering Opportunity

We need volunteers to give the gift of time for one day for the 2020 Yorkshire Charity Clay Day on Tuesday 12th May.

Last year the event raised over £400,000 for 6 Yorkshire charities and this year is already set to be another huge success. This highly prestigious event is comprised of clay shooting over 6 drives in the stunning grounds of Duncombe Park.

Volunteers are key to ensuring the event runs smoothly. You will help us to make sure the 350-400 guests enjoy their day of sport and help us to raise as much money as possible for 6 amazing Yorkshire charities.

Here are some more details about what you can expect on the day:

Location: Duncombe Park, Helmsley, North Yorkshire

Time: 8am until 5pm

Volunteer Role: You will spend the morning outside in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside greeting attendees when they arrive at your stand. You will be asked to ensure all teams stay within the designated safety waiting areas until they are called by the Stand Host to take their turn at clay shooting. Attendees will have lunch at 12.30pm and all volunteers will be asked to make their way to the marquee to help with auction prize fundraising. You might be asked to spot bidders for the auctioneer.

Other Information: Packed lunch will be provided. You will be outside for most of the day so please bring appropriate clothing, including sun cream. Dress code is charity branded t-shirts.
