Naylor Wintersgill to host charity conference in Bradford

Independent chartered accountants Naylor Wintersgill are hosting a charity conference in Bradford City centre to support organisations in the third sector across Yorkshire.

The free half day event being held on 10th May 2022 at Kala Sangham Arts Centre is open to all involved in charities, ranging from those in charity finance roles and CEO’s to treasurers and trustees. On the day, the panel of speakers will be offering expert advice and knowledge on a range of legal, accounting, tax, and HR matters and discussing issues affecting the sector right now.

Naylor Wintersgill director and head of Audit Compliance and Ethics at the firm, Alison Whalley comments, “Through our involvement with a wide range of charity, social enterprise and not-for-profit clients, we are aware of the financial and other challenges COVID-19 has brought, with the pandemic reshaping the environment in which these organisations operate. Many experienced an increase in demand for their services, whilst at the same time having to pivot and adapt the ways in which they work and fundraise. As we adjust to a post-pandemic world, we are pleased to launch our inaugural charity conference to support organisations in the third sector across Yorkshire.”

The conference, including guest speaker slots from Wrigleys Solicitors LLP and Veritas VAT Consultants Ltd, will also provide an ideal chance for attendees to connect and network with others to discuss pertinent charity issues as well as access expert insights.
